VIETNAMESE CARAMELISED PHUTURE™ INVINCIBLE MINCE RICE BOWL

  • tbsp Cooking oil
  • ½ piece Yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 2 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 1 piece Birds eye chili (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • 500 g PHUTURE™ Invincible Mince
  • 4 tbsp Brown sugar

Garnish

  • Spring onions (chopped)
  • Tomato
  • Bird eye chili
  • Cucumber (sliced)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Add in onion, ginger, garlic and chili and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add in PHUTURE™ Invincible Mince and cook for 2 minutes, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon.
  • Add the sugar and fish sauce. Stir, then leave it to cook without touching until all the juices cook out and the minced starts caramelised - about 2 minutes. Then stir it and leave it again, without stirring, for around 30 seconds to get more caramelisation. Repeat twice more until caramelised to your taste.
