DRY CURRY PHUTURE™ INVINCIBLE MINCE

  • 450 g PHUTURE™ Invincible Mince
  • 200 ml Vegetable oil
  • 50 g Garlic
  • 50 g Ginger
  • 150 g Red onions
  • 100ml +200ml Water
  • 50 g Curry powder
  • 2 g Star anise
  • 2 g Cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon stock
  • 2 g Cloves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Sugar

Garnish

  • Chopped coriander

Instructions
 

  • Place garlic, onion and ginger in a blender and add in 100ml of water. Blend the vegetables to a fine paste.
  • Heat the cooking oil in a wok or deep pan over low medium heat.
  • Add in spices and fry until aromatic, about 1 minute.
  • Add the blended vegetables and sauté till they turn a pale golden color. Stirring frequently until the oil begins to separate from the mixture. (When this happens, you know the spices are cooked to perfection.)
  • Lower down the heat and add in curry powder. Stir until well incorporated.
  • Add PHUTURE™ Invincible Mince to the curry paste and sauté until cooked, stirring often to prevent burning - about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Gradually add in water bit by bit and stir in seasoning.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
